ABSTRACT

Electricity is a necessity in our growing and expanding world. But carelessness and misuse may result in serious morbidity and mortality. In this case series, we describe four patients with electrical injuries, three resulting in death. All of these accidents could have been prevented if more care had been showed. Epidemiologic studies showing the etiologies and extent of electrical injuries should be performed in order to implement effective injury prevention programs.
