THE SENSITIVITY AND SPECIFICITY OF TRYPSINOGEN-2 IN THE DIAGNOSIS OF ACUTE PANCREATITIS

A rapid bedside test for trypsinogen-2 was utilized in 29 patients with clinical symptoms and signs of pancreatits. Of the 29 patients, 20 received a final diagnosis of acute pancreatits. The rapid bedside test for trypsinogen-2 had a sensitivity of 85% and a specificity of 100%.
