Behçet disease (BD) is a multi-systemic disorder with unknown etiology characterized by recurrent attacks of chronic inflammatory vasculitis. Pulmonary involvement occurs in 1-18% of patients with Behçet disease. However, the number of patients with Behçet disease presenting with pulmonary embolism (PE) is uncommon. The aim of this study is to emphasize the importance of investigating the presence of Behçet disease associated with PE in a young patient.
